For his second CD on Babel, Richard Fairhurst had stabilised the line-up of the Hungry Ants, to include Rob Townsend, known for his work amongst others with Django Bates and Hans Koller, Tim Harries (Earthworks, Steeleye Span) and drum Wunderkind Tim Giles, still just 19. On the basis of this release, which was selected as a CD of the week in The Guardian, Richard received the endorsement of Steinway, only the second British jazz pianist to receive this accolade.
